We've had another interesting week in national security:
- Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz relieved intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan of his post and appointed his deputy Youssef al-Idrissi as acting head of intelligence
- DIA has created a new training and development center for its 2,000 personnel at MacDill Air Force Base, the first of many agency satellite learning centers around the globe

And we have interesting events coming up:
- Apr 25, Addressing “Big Data” Issues and Solutions in Healthcare, Richmond. Keynote: The Secretary of Technology. Register (free):
- May 1, STEM Summit at Catholic University with STEM leaders from Congress, DOE, US Army and more. Register (free):
- May 14, "Putting Community Back into the Intelligence Community" Trends in social media affecting national security professionals
- 14 May, #JobSeeker Happy Hour, Rock Bottom Brewery, Arlington, Job seekers pay a cover charge and recruiters attend free. If you are a recruiter, please connect with me for a discount code. Register here:
Here is just one testimonial from our job seeker happy hour: “The venue and happy hour style was laid back and a good environment to casually speak with and begin to build working relationships between recruiters and IC Professionals. I thought the level of talent and experience among the candidates was excellent.” - Mike Bruni | Leidos, Talent Acquisition Manager, Mission Support Group
